Truths To Ponder...

A daughter is a daughter all of her life.
But a son is a son until he takes a wife.

A hug is a great gift - one size fits all.
It can be given for any occasion
and it's easy to exchange.

A man can have the best intentions to meet
his wife's needs, but if he thinks her needs
are similar to his own, he will fail miserably.

A well trained memory is one that lets you forget
everything that isn't worth remembering.

All too few children can say -
"There's No Place Like Home."

Although it's important to be forgiven by others,
sometimes we have to forgive ourselves too.

Always remember to forget the troubles that pass your way;
but never forget the blessings that come each and every day.

And on that day, death and hell will be cast
down into the Lake of Fire and will be no more!
Wow! Think about that!

And see not what you shall eat, or what you shall
drink; neither be you of a doubtful mind; Your
Father knoweth you have need of these things.
But rather seek ye first the Kingdom of God; and all
these things shall be added unto you.  (Luke 12:15-31)

Be not deceived: Evil communications
corrupt good manners. (1 Corinthians 15:33)

Be ye fishers of men! You catch
them and He'll clean them!

Compassion is the heart of knowing what to overlook.

Credentials on the wall do not make us decent human beings.

Do what you do for His Glory!

Either the bible will keep us from sin,
or sin will keep us from the bible.

Either we control our attitude,
or our attitude will control us.

Even when we think we have no more to give, we will
find the strength to help, if a friend cries out to us.

Every path has a few puddles.

Exercise Daily... walk with the Lord.

Faith gives us the courage to do great things.

Faith sees the invisible,
believes the miraculous
and obtains the impossible.

Faith in God, resulting in good works,
will result in a balanced Christian life,
as they are essentially inseparable.

Faith is being sure of what we hope for,
and certain of what we do not see.

For every minute we are angry with someone, we lose
60 seconds of happiness that we can never get back.

Give God what's right,
not what's left.

Give the devil an inch and he'll be a ruler.

God can have our money
and not our hearts.

God can open doors for us that no man can shut!

God doesn't call the qualified.
He qualifies the called.

God’s purpose in our lives is like
our skeleton is to our bodies.

Gratitude releases God’s super natural power
to work in our lives and change our destiny.

Happiness is enhanced by others,
but should not depend upon others.

He will make an epistle out of you
known and read of all men.
(2 Corinthians 3:2)

He will light up your countenance and
beautify you with His salvation.
(Psalms 149:4)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your
own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

History confirms defending of the faith.

I believe that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship
is at first, the passion WILL fade, and then there had
better be something else to take its place.

I believe it's taking me a long time
to become the person I want to be.

I believe maturity has more to do with what types of
experiences we've had and what we've learned from them,
and less to do with how many birthdays we've celebrated.

If we are not thankful for what we have
now, why in the world would we expect
God to give us more to be ungrateful for?

If we don't get happy where we are,
we'll never get to where we need to be.

If we fill our hearts with regrets of
yesterday and the worries of tomorrow,
we will have no today to be thankful for.

If you love your children equally,
you will treat them differently.

I have learned that I can keep
going long after I think I can't.

It's one thing when we start trusting the Lord, but it's
an entirely different matter when He can start trusting us!

I would rather prepare myself to go through tribulation and
be happily surprised by an unexpected rapture, than expect
to be raptured only to find myself going through tribulation.

Just as the sinner's despair of any hope from himself
is the first prerequisite of a sound conversion;
so the loss of all confidence in himself is the
first essential in the believer's growth in grace.

Just because someone doesn't love us the
way we want them to, doesn't mean they
don't love us with all they have.

Just because two people argue,
it doesn't mean they don't love each other,
and just because they don't argue,
it doesn't mean they do.

Laziness or an idle heart
is the devil's workshop.

Look for the right characteristics in a mate:
Forget about looks, money and social position.
Look for someone who has; (1) common beliefs,
(2) a similar upbringing (3) and common goals.
(2 Corinthians 6:14)

Meanness just doesn't happen overnight.

Most people don't realize that the Bible is full of
scientific and historical accuracy, and fulfilled prophecies.

Money is a lousy way of keeping score.

No matter how bad my heart is broken,
the world does not stop for my grief.

No one is better than anyone else, so
judge yourselves so YOU won't be judged.

One of our greatest problems is that we ask God for answers
and guidance and then we debate Him over His response.

Our lives can be changed in a matter of
minutes by people we don't even know.

Our philosophy in life is to be in love with all we know.
And what we've gathered in however many years
we've lived is what we have come to believe.

Plan ahead. It wasn't raining
when Noah built the ark!

Read the Bible!
It will scare the "hell" out of you!

Religion is man's idea of God's expectations.

Remember, even the devil
quotes scripture. (Matthew 4:6)

Sixty percent of church attendants are women.
Forty percent and declining are men.

Some people are like waterless clouds -
promising rain but never coming through.

Sometimes silence is the best answer.

Sometimes the people we expect to kick us when we're
down, will be the very ones that help us get back up.

Sometimes we have the right to
be angry, but that doesn't give
us the right to be cruel.

might understand the Scriptures.  (Luke 24:45)

The one thing we can give away and still keep is our word.

The people we care about most in life are the essence of life.
We should make sure they know how much we love them every
day because sometimes they are taken from us way too soon.

There is no respect of persons with God;
For He shows no partiality. (Romans 2:11)

The things of earth will soon be past,
but all things for Christ are going to last.

The way we think all the time can become more
powerful than what we believe, and what
we think all the time becomes who we are.

The Wise enrich - Fools hinder.

Those who exist are established by God. (Romans 13:1)

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed
on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. (Isaiah 26:3)

True love cannot be found where it does not truly
exist. Nor can it be hidden where it truly does.

Two people can look at the exact same thing
and see something totally different.

WARNING: Exposure to the Son may prevent burning!

We are not responsible for what others do to us,
but we are responsible for how we respond.

We are responsible for what we do,
no matter how we feel.

We can do something in a heartbeat that
will give us heartache for a lifetime!

We cannot unsay a cruel word.

We can't change the past, but we can ruin
the present by worrying over the future.

We must be "born again" with the
Spirit of God to enter into Heaven.

We should always leave loved ones with loving words
because it could be the last time we see them.

We shouldn't be so eager to find out
a secret. It could change our life forever.

What comes out of the mouth is in the heart!

What comes into our minds when we think
about God is the most important thing about us!

When the devil reminds you of your past,
just remind him of his future!

When we cast our bread upon the waters,
we never know how it will be returned to us.

When you wallow with pigs,
espect to get dirty.

Words that soak into your ears
are whispered, not yelled.
Safe in the Arms of Jesus!
When we are not in the mood to worship God
but we do it anyway, that is a sacrifice of Praise!
