| But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He Is, and that He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) |
First, you must recognize that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23) You must believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you. (1 Peter 3:18, Galatians 2:20) And you must repent of your sins. How do we do that? We ask God to forgive us and then we make a conscious decision to turn away from the things that are displeasing to Him. God knows our motives. He knows our hearts. There must be true genuine repentance. (Acts 3:19) Then you can accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and be baptized in His Name. (Matthew 11:28, John 6:37) Salvation is freely given, but only to those who are genuine believers. We must step out in Faith. If you truly want to know God, you must tell Him so. Just call out to Him and mean it with all your heart. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Who You Are and I confess all of my sins to You right now. Forgive me, Lord. I believe You died on Calvary's Cross for me, and I thank You for Your free gift of Salvation. Jesus Christ, You are now Lord and Saviour of my life, and from this point on, I will live my life for You. Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to dwell in me, for I commit my life to You. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen. If you just placed your faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, Congratulations and Welcome into the Family of God!
